There is so much going on in the world of yoga and even I, as a teacher, find it difficult to keep up with everything so I thought it would be a great idea to compile a list of as many festivals as I can find that incorporate yoga and wellness taking place in the UK .



Into the Wild Beltane Winter Warmer Festival– Date: 1-3 February 2019

Venue: Emerson College, Forest Row

A celebration of the first glimpse of spring on the edge of the winter months. A weekend of sublime music, story, enchanting workshops & delicious feasts. A beautiful community gathering to celebrate the ancient festival of Samhain. A perfect time to come together After  the long winter  to celebrate and share with friends old and new. Beautiful ecstatic music from around the world , workshops, feasting and a whole lot more as ever. With either camping, accomodation or a shared heated yurt to sleep in.

Into the Wild Beltane Fire Festival– Date: 3-6 May 2019

Venue: Broomlands, Cowden, East Sussex TN8 7EA

Balance Festival – Date: 10-12th May 2019

Venue: The Old Truman Brewery, Shoreditch, London

A celebration of wellness, this festival offers opportunities to workout with leading global fitness experts, sample delicious healthy foods, learn from top wellness gurus, zen out with mindful yogis, heighten your emotional intelligence, discover all the latest forward-thinking brands, and much more.

Om Yoga Show – Manchester – Date: 11-12 May 2019

Venue: Event City, Manchester

The OM Yoga Show has been running in London for over a decade and now has a show in Manchester too. It is the perfect introduction to the ancient Indian practice of yoga, renowned for relaxing the body and de-stressing the mind: the perfect counter to today’s modern world.

Tantra Festival – Date: 24-26 May 2019

Venue: Tara Yoga Centre, London

Tantra Festival is a celebration of Tantra in its many facets and this year’s theme is ‘Dive Deeper’.  The best practitioners and teachers in the field of Tantra from the UK and Europe will come together at Tantra Festival to create a dynamic and exciting programme of lectures, workshops and presentations.

Mind Body Spirit Wellbeing Festival – London– Date: 24-27 May 2019

Venue: London Olympia

The Mind Body Spirit London Wellbeing Festival returns to London’s iconic venue “Olympia” to party and celebrate the ultimate gathering of the tribes. We’ll be celebrating the beauty, uniqueness and inspiration that has made this festival so special to so many people. So, if you are a shaman, yogi, vegan, spiritual seeker, urban hippie or just a little curious then you don’t want to miss this life changing festival experience.

We’ve lovingly curated and designed over 48 transformational workshops, consisting of a glittering galaxy of movers and shakers, all contributing to a melting pot of ideas. Providing life hacks, lessons on relationships, spiritual awakening, inspired living, nutrition, yoga and meditation, this festival focuses on delivering practical and accessible life skills.


Glastonbury Festival – Date: 26-30 June 2019

Venue: Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset

If you’re lucky enough to be at Glastonbury, then do take the time to check out The Healing Field. The festival’s chill-out field has mystical and creative gardens to hide away in and healing ceremonies to participate in. There’s Yoga and Tai Chi, Dance and Laughter, Meditation and Massage.

Yoga Connects Festival – Date:  29 June  – 1 July 2019

Venue: Abbots Ripton Hall, PE28 2PQ Huntingdon

Yoga Connects is a festival with Shamanism and sustainability at its heart. It’s all about celebration, transformation and connection. With something for everyone – a mix of styles of yoga, shamanic ceremonies, Capoeira, drumming, Yin Yoga, meditation, gong baths and much, much more.

Buddhafield Festival – Date: 17-21 July 2019

Venue: Blackdown Hills, Somerset

The Buddhafield Festival is a joyful and unique creation of community. Up to 3,000 people come together from all traditions (and none) in this mindful and family-friendly space, this drink- and drug-free environment, to enjoy ritual, song, dance, meditation, yoga, tai chi and arts and crafts.

World Yoga Festival – Date: 18 – 21 July 2019

Venue: Child Beale Trust, Reading, Berkshire

The World Yoga Festival is bringing together a revered collection of teachers in yoga, meditation and wisdom for this three-day open-air festival.

Love Fit Festival – Date: 19 – 21 July 2019

Venue: St Clere Estate, Sevenoaks, Kent

Music, fitness and healthy food enthusiasts descend upon the tranquil woodlands of the St Clere Estate – LoveFit offers a unique mix of music from international DJs and live acts and world class fitness personalities & studios.

Barefoot Festival – Date: 26-28 July 2019

Venue: Prestwold Hall, Loughborough, Leicestershire. LE12 5SH

Barefoot Festival™ is all about getting back to basics and enjoying quality family time. There are plenty of new things to try in the great British countryside. In the Chill Out Area, there’ll be a 3-day celebration of Yoga, Tai Chi, therapies and meditative movement practices.

Wanderlust UK– Date: 27 July 2019

Venue: Battersea Park, London

Escape from the ordinary: unplug, unwind, recharge. Inspiring one-day events. Featuring three mindful activities: running, yoga and meditation. Wanderlust 108 is the ultimate opportunity to come together around shared values and practice.

Brighton Yoga Festival – Date: 27-28 July 2019

Venue: Brighton & Hove

This is the only fully free yoga festival in the country and it’s open to everyone, whatever your age, fitness or experience. This not for profit organisation is dedicated to making the health and wellbeing benefits of yoga accessible to all, so whether you’ve ever tried yoga before or not, there will be yoga for you.

Wilderness Festival – Date: 1- 4 August 2019

Venue:  Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire

Welcome to this place where you can keep reality at arm’s length: a world of creativity and culture, of festival and flora, of ideas and identity. There’s plenty of yoga too in the fantastic Wellbeing Section of the festival.

Sun & Moon Festival –  Date: 4 – 11 August 2019

Venue: Merrist Wood, Guildford, Surrey

Sun and Moon is a small festival of 3-400 people.The heart of the festival are the hundreds of workshops and courses to attend. With around 60 teachers and facilitators each giving daily workshops – there are a lot of amazing courses on offer – so many that you’ll find it almost impossible to choose what to do all day! You’ll find everything from Indian head massage classes to Tai Chi, and from yoga and meditation to dancing 5 rhythms. Also a family friendly event with hundreds of things for younger people to do too – from singing to football, and from willow weaving to circus skills – the smaller people among us are certainly well entertained. Which leaves the bigger people free to enjoy their time too.

Boardmasters  Date: 7- 11 August 2019

Venue:  Cornwall

Surf festival Boardmasters now has a new wellbeing area, which is the perfect sanctuary to renew, refresh and revitalise through the festival weekend.

There’s a Yoga Studio with awesome classes every day, from restorative yoga to Pilates, to disco yoga and acrobalance. There’s mindfulness and meditation at mini-retreats throughout the weekend and massages or alternative therapy in the Boardmasters Spa.

Green Man Festival – Date: 15 – 18 August 2019

Venue: (Nature/Nurture area) – Brecon Beacons, South Wales,

Green Man festival is an eclectic mix of comedy, music, science and film. And in one of the ten magical areas to explore, you’ll discover Nature Nurture, a quiet haven of health and wellbeing. This idyllic healing garden is open each day and offers nurturing treatments from qualified therapists and exercise classes including yoga and Pilates.

Tribal Earth Summer Festival – Date: 15- 18 August 2019

Venue: Laughton, Near Lewes East Sussex

Tribal Earth is a very special festival that has been running for 20 years which takes place in Laughton near Lewes.  This festival is one of Sussex’s secret jewels and so whether you are looking for great live music, relaxation, fun, inspirational workshops, singing, dance, have a sauna, maybe a therapy or massage, meditation, to meet new friends or hang out with old ones in a beautiful setting, Tribal Earth is a truly magical experience.

FloVibe Festival  Date: 16 – 18 August 2019

Venue: Stansted Park, Rowlands Castle, Hampshire, PO9 6DX

Soul Circus Yoga & Wellness Festival – Date: 16 – 18 August 2019

Venue: Elmore, The Cotsworlds

Soul Circus offers classes and workshops by internationally recognised teachers as well as top local instructors in a wonderfully diverse range of yoga styles – from restorative to Rocket, from a gong bath to aerial yoga, from an early morning sunrise class to a cosy hot yoga experience. With yoga, food and music, Soul Circus is the definition of balance.

Into the Wild Summer Festival – Date: 23-26 August 2019

Venue: Chiddinglye, West Hoathly, West Sussex  RH19 4QS

Into the Wild is a vibrant creative village of life and all its potential.  Celebrate together in the majesty of the wild under the midnight stars and sparkling summer sky with a wide range of free workshops, including foraging, yoga, meditation, song, dance, tantra, shamanism, drumming and lucid dreaming.

Exhale – Date: 23-26 August 2019

Venue: Fairoaks Farm, Spithandle Lane, Wiston, West Sussex, BN44 3DS

Exhale describes itself as ‘a triumphant celebration of what it means to be alive’. That sounds like a great place to start! And so at Exhale, you can expect to find yoga, acro, calisthenics and wild running, as well as diverse and inspired embodied practises, such as Biodynamics, Breathwork or Animal Movement.

Santosha Living Yoga and Bhakti Camp  – Date: 23 August – 1 September 2019

Venue: The Healing Field, near Shepton Mallet, Somerset.

With over fifty wonderful yoga and meditation and dance teachers, musicians, singers and workshop facilitators on the festival’s packed schedule.


London Yoga Festival – Date: 12-13 October 2019

Venue: London

An inspirational weekend of masterclasses, workshops, talks and films with renowned modern teachers and scholars of yoga.

Om Yoga Show – Date: 18-20 October 2019

Venue: Alexandra Palace, London

For more than a decade the OM Yoga Show has grown ever more popular, becoming the biggest yoga gathering in Europe, and one of the largest events of its kind in the world.
With amazing shows in both London and Manchester in 2019, it is the perfect introduction to the ancient Indian practice of yoga, renowned for relaxing the body and de-stressing the mind: the perfect counter to today’s modern world.

ColourFest – Venue: Gaunts House, Dorset – Returning in 2020 – usually May time

A creative, upbeat gathering with yoga at its heart. Come and explore the depths of life through yoga, intelligent movement, dance, devotion, music, theatre and the arts with an amazing line up of tutors, artists and musicians.

Devon Yoga Festival – Returning in 2020 with a provisional date: 17-19 July 2020

Venue: Rill Estate, Buckfastleigh, Devon

There’s a full timetable of inspiring yoga workshops, talks, music and kirtan at the Devon Yoga Festival. This annual, not-for-profit event celebrates and embraces the holistic practices of yoga. The venue also boasts delicious vegetarian cuisine.

Festival No. 6 – Returning in 2020 – usually September time

Venue: Portmeirion, Wales

Head away for a long weekend in the Welsh countryside. Festival No. 6 is located in a village near Snowdonia and last year they offered yoga, paddle boarding, spa treatments and healing sessions. Coupled with art talks, workshops and live music this is the ultimate country break.
