Our Last Term for 2019

I hope you all had a restful time over our half-term break and are ready to reconnect with your yoga practice. We are now entering our Autumn-Winter Term which recommenced on Monday 4th November 2019 and which will run up to and including Friday 13th December 2019. There will therefore be approximately six teaching weeks, with the exception of one scheduled cancellation on a Thursday evening as detailed below.

For the most part I teach term-time only so it is essential to make the most of these blocks of classes if you wish to have continuity in your practice. I always break for the school holidays but each teaching block lasts approximately six weeks so there is plenty opportunity to practice with me during each term.

Unfortunately we are unable to use the studio at Becket Sports Centre on Thursday 14th November due to an open evening being held at the Dartford Boys Grammar School, so there will be no yoga class that evening. This situation is out of my control but I would encourage my Thursday students to come along to my 7pm Friday evening yoga class that week instead.

I am running my last event of the year on Sunday 8th December 2019. This will be a half-day retreat offering some “chill-out” time in the run-up to Christmas. There are just a few spaces left and the early bird price of £25 runs up until 10th November only. Please click here for details.

I have mentioned in a previous post that I will be removing my Men’s Yoga class and my Thursday evening yoga class from my teaching schedule from January 2020. Therefore this term leading up to Christmas will be the last term for both these classes. You can find more details here.

Please note that all class passes issued since September will expire at the end of this term, i.e. Friday 13th December. A new class pass system came into play in September and all current class pass holders will have been aware of this change. For more information click here .

My last day of teaching before Christmas will be on Friday 13th December 2019. From my experience of teaching in previous years this is usually the time around which attendance starts to drop as people start to get busy with other commitments. I would consider running one or two morning classes the following week (18th/20th December) if a decent number of people are still interested in attending (evening classes are usually very quiet by this point!) but this is something I can discuss with my students nearer the time.

Please note that I update my Classes page at the start of every week to reflect exactly what is going on for the week ahead in case of any unforeseen changes.
