Spring Awakening Yin Yoga Sequence
This is a 50 minute Yin Yoga sequence that will help you to release tired and stagnant energy from the body. It targets the Liver and Gallbladder meridians which relate to the energy of Spring and the Wood element and which support the body’s natural digestive and detoxification functions. This practice invites you to shed old unwanted layers and to make a conscious decision to begin again.
Yin Yoga Sequence for the Lung Meridian
This is a 60 minute Yin Yoga class that I have sequenced to help unblock the Lung Meridian. The postures included target the release of energy stuck around the chest, shoulders, upper back and inner arms in particular. The Lung Meridian controls the breath and respiration and the circulation of Qi energy through the entire body. On a physical level the lung meridian relates to the chest, lungs, throat and nose and blockages can cause imbalances in these areas and on an emotional level this meridian is linked to sadness, grief, emotional turmoil and despair and so a practice to unblock this meridian can help you to feel emotionally lighter and happier.
Feel Good Deep Release Yin Yoga Sequence
As its title implies, the aim of this 45 minute Yin Yoga sequence is to leave you feeling good and as such incorporates postures that encourage deep release within the body. There is always a great emphasis on flexibility and deep stretching in Yin Yoga and this sequence encourages flexibility around the hips in particular and also the spine. Suitable for all abilities.
