Family Yoga Workshop – FULLY BOOKED*
*We have reached maximum capacity for this workshop now. If you want to go on the waiting list in case anyone cancels between now [29/09] and the workshop please contact me.
SUNDAY 12th November 2017 – 10.25am to 12.35pm
“Journey to the Magic Kingdom”
In the Education Room at Hall Place (in the main building directly opposite the Riverside Cafe)
Bourne Road, Bexley DA5 1PQ
My next Family Yoga Workshop will be held in a new venue this time in the Education Room at Hall Place in Bexley which is inside the main building opposite the Riverside Cafe. I thought it would be nice to try somewhere different and this is a lovely bright space with lots of natural light and doors that concertina back the entire length of the room opening onto a small private garden. It is also ideally placed for a family day out with the beautiful grounds of Hall Place right in situ, a cafe opposite and a restaurant next door and then lots of free on-site parking!
What to expect?
This (just over) 2-hour family yoga workshop will be a wonderful opportunity to enjoy some yoga with your children in a fun, light-hearted setting. The workshop will include yoga poses suitable for children and adults (no previous experience needed), partner work, games, breathing exercises and quiet time too. This could be for mums, dads, grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, carers, etc. Whatever the relationship just bring along a child or two and have some fun!
What does it cost?
Adults – £11
Children* – £6
*Please note: I would suggest a minimum age of 2 years old (based on previous workshops) in order for the children to be able to participate fully in the workshop.
Price includes drinks and nibbles during a short break.
This is a smaller venue than previously so numbers will be limited to about 25 maximum and must be pre-booked and paid for in advance to be secured. We had around 35 the previous 2 workshops so they do tend to be quite popular so I would advise early booking if you know you definitely want to come. You can pay in cash if you come to my classes or via bank transfer if preferred. (Please contact me for bank details if required.)
What to bring?
– A yoga mat (I do have some mats but I won’t automatically bring these along unless requested – so if you need one please ask in advance and these will be pre-allocated on a first-come first-served basis)
– The theme this time is “Journey to the Magic Kingdom” and children are welcome to bring along a “themed” cuddly toy of their choice if they wish (or any cuddly toy if they prefer!). Think castles, princes, princesses, knights, dragons, wizards and fairies….wherever your imagination leads you!
– A bottle of water
– A blanket might be handy too.
